How AGLI handles information provided through the public website, registry, contact pathways, and protected staff services.
AGLI respects your privacy. This policy applies to information provided through the public website and related online services.
AGLI may receive your name, email address, phone number, inquiry details, and any other information you choose to provide when you contact the laboratory, request assistance, register or use a protected staff account, or communicate through email, telephone, or WhatsApp. Public visitors are not asked to upload gemstone or report material through the contact form unless a separate authorised workflow is provided.
When a certificate number or QR code is used, the website queries the protected laboratory registry and returns only the customer-safe information supported for public display. Search activity may be logged for reliability, security, and abuse prevention. Internal report fields, staff notes, audit history, and restricted documents are not made public through the verification interface.
Protected staff accounts may include identity details, role and permission information, authentication events, password-reset activity, and security-related logs. These records are used to provide authorised access, enforce role boundaries, investigate account problems, and protect the integrity of laboratory records.
The laboratory system may store report data, certificate status, issue and replacement history, uploaded report images, logos, and other supporting media required to prepare, manage, preview, print, download, or verify a record. Access to this material is limited according to the report status, document permissions, and staff role.
The website and its service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device details, timestamps, requested pages, error information, and limited cookies or storage required for authentication, security, preferences, and reliable operation. AGLI does not use this information to sell personal profiles to advertisers.
Information is used to respond to inquiries, provide laboratory and registry services, authenticate users, maintain report history, support public verification, prepare permitted documents, improve reliability, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate service or security information when necessary.
AGLI may use trusted infrastructure, hosting, authentication, email, storage, analytics, or security providers to operate the platform. Information is shared only to the extent needed for those services, when required by law or lawful process, or when necessary to protect users, laboratory records, and the integrity of the service. AGLI does not sell personal information.
Information is retained only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for laboratory record integrity, audit and security requirements, legal obligations, dispute handling, and recovery of issued or replaced reports. Some certificate and report-status information may need to remain traceable even after a record is voided or replaced.
AGLI uses access controls, protected authentication, role-based permissions, restricted storage, and operational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorised access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their account credentials and report suspected access problems promptly.
You may ask AGLI to review, correct, or delete personal information where applicable, subject to identity verification and any requirement to retain laboratory, audit, security, or legal records. You may also choose not to provide optional information, although this may limit the assistance or service that can be provided.
The website may link to Google Maps, WhatsApp, email clients, or other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. When you continue through an external link, information you provide is handled by that third party as well as by AGLI where the communication is received.
This policy may be revised when the website, laboratory workflows, legal requirements, or service providers change. The current version will be published on this page, and material changes may also be communicated through the website or relevant account channel.
